Dr. Joni F. DaPra is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with a diverse range of populations from young children to geriatrics. She provides comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy.  Dr. DaPra also has expertise conducting psychoeducational and psychological testing services.

A believer in the Lord long before practicing in the field of Psychology, Dr. DaPra trusts in Biblical principles, and the purity of God’s love to heal a willing heart.

Her dedication to help others in private practice, community mental health centers, and school-based settings truly defines her. Dr. DaPra utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helping individuals with many challenges such as anxiety, depression, adjustment, attachment, grief/loss, and parenting skills.

Her special interests are working with children and parents in creating a more harmonious and effective home environment. She has specialized training in working with individuals who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is certified in conducting EMDR.

Dr. DaPra earned her doctorate and master’s in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She received her bachelor’s from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Dr. DaPra is a member of the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors).
