Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training as a Registered Play Therapist. My greatest passion is social-emotional wellness for children as young as 2, adolescents, and their families. Many of the clients I see experience:

behavioral problems, difficult life transitions such as divorce or loss, anger, anxiety, and depression, low self-esteem, social impairment, and attachment difficulties.

In the play therapy room, young children have the opportunity to “play out” their problems in a non-threatening environment, similarly to the way an adult would “talk out” a problem in therapy. Play therapy is a research-based modality that can lead children to improved emotional and behavioral regulation, attachment, social skills, and healing.

As a mother of two young children, I understand the difficulties that can come along with significant family transitions, challenging behaviors, and parenting issues in this roller coaster of life! Things never seem to go the way we had it all planned out.  I have a deep-seated passion for supporting parents through this journey with their child(ren).

    From start to finish in my office, you will find a collaborative process -- It is only together that we can add more tools to your parenting toolbox to build on your specific needs and strengths. My goal is that parents and caregivers will be given the opportunity to view their child with new insight and tools to connect with, rather than battle with, their child.

    I believe that ALL of my clients-- whether children or grown adults-- are capable and courageous. I am alongside with empathic support, specific training, and a fresh perspective so that my clients can take away what they need to navigate beyond the difficulties and into their personal story of success!

    When I’m not in the office, you can find this south Florida native enjoying fun in the sun with my husband and two young children, in the middle of one of our never-ending house projects, or searching for a spare moment to enjoy my beloved books!
